Hello!

Ask me any question about Lympik.

Please be as specific as possible so I can help you better.

How do I upload data from Oculus to the Lympik web app? What do I need to consider before timing myself with Chronos? How can I analyze Oculus data? Why can't I see any results in my activity? How does video analysis work? Why are my times incorrect? How can I edit my privacy settings? How does payment for the software work at Lympik? How do NFC chips work? What should I do if my Chronos device has no reception? How do I upload data from Oculus to the Lympik web app? What do I need to consider before timing myself with Chronos? Timing by tag

With Lympik Timing, you can trigger the Chronos timing device using an NFC chip instead of a trigger, such as a startgate or photocell.

To enable this, open the advanced menu by holding down the OK (green) and Cancel (red) buttons, and simultaneously switch on the device. Release the buttons as soon as "Application config" appears on the screen:

Ensure that 'Time Source' is set to 'GNSS'. Now, press the blue setup button twice to scroll down until you reach 'Trigger RFID' and confirm with the red cancel button. If you accidentally scroll down too far, continue scrolling to the end – your Chronos device will start normally and you can repeat the process. If you have successfully selected 'Trigger RFID', scroll to the end to start your Chronos device as usual. Don't forget to set it up the same way on your target device if desired. You can also save this setting. This way, your Chronos device will always start in a mode where it can be triggered with NFC chips. To do this, scroll through the advanced menu until you reach the 'Save config' option, then confirm with the red 'Cancel' button.

Your Chronos device will now display the following screen when the triggering by NFC chips has been successfully set:

Please note: To be able to use this feature in the Competition module, the NFC identifiers must be entered in lower case in the registration.

This setting on your Chronos device now also enables overtaking, as the athlete also identifies himself with his chip at the finish.
